HENDERSON, NEVADA — An Intimate Music Experience Is Finding Its Audience
There is a different kind of live music experience growing in Henderson.
No massive arena.
No wall between artist and audience.
No elaborate production needed to make the music matter.
Instead, Nashville Comes Home Live puts the focus where Nashville songwriters have always known it belongs: on the song and the story behind it.
Following another sold-out performance in Henderson, the singer-songwriter series continues to gain momentum with Southern Nevada audiences looking for a more intimate and authentic live music experience.
The event has even been described as “Henderson’s Newest Hot Ticket” as word continues to spread throughout the community.
Bringing the Nashville Listening Room to Southern Nevada
Anyone who has spent time around Nashville’s songwriting community knows that some of Music City’s most memorable performances don’t happen inside stadiums.
They happen in listening rooms.
Songwriters sit together.
One performs a song.
Then another.
Between performances, they tell stories about how the songs were written, where the ideas came from and sometimes the unexpected events that inspired a lyric.
Nashville Comes Home Live brings that experience west.
The result is a Nashville-style singer-songwriter “In the Round” showcase where Southern Nevada audiences can experience original music in the environment it was meant to be heard.

A Recent Sold-Out Night of Original Music
A recent Nashville Comes Home Live performance featured songwriters Erin Ashley, Chris Heers, John Wesley Satterfield and John Gurney.
Each brought a different musical perspective to the room, but the format allowed them to share something equally important: the stories behind their music.
Those stories transform the evening.
Audiences aren’t simply hearing songs.
They’re learning why those songs exist.
They’re seeing how completely different experiences can become lyrics, melodies and eventually music that connects with someone sitting just a few feet away.
That combination of songwriting, storytelling, humor and audience connection helped create another sold-out night for Nashville Comes Home Live.
Why Audiences Are Responding
The growth of Nashville Comes Home Live points to something many music lovers have been missing.
Connection.
Streaming services have made almost every song imaginable available within seconds. Large concerts can deliver incredible spectacle.
But neither necessarily allows listeners to sit close to the person who wrote a song and hear that person explain what happened before the first lyric was ever written.
Nashville Comes Home Live creates space for exactly that.
It gives original artists a stage.
It gives audiences access to the creative process.
And it gives Henderson a live music experience that feels deliberately different from the traditional entertainment associated with the Las Vegas Valley.
Building a Community Around Original Music
The event is also becoming more than an occasional concert.
It is helping build a community around songwriting.
Local residents, musicians, business owners, music fans and Nashville artists come together inside the same room with a shared appreciation for original music.
Community partners and sponsors have also helped support the continued growth of the event and its mission to bring Nashville’s songwriter culture to Southern Nevada.
At the center of everything, however, remains a very simple idea:
Put great songwriters in an intimate room and give people an opportunity to listen.

Experience Nashville Without Leaving Henderson
Nashville Comes Home Live was created around a belief that people don’t have to travel all the way to Music City to experience what makes its songwriter culture special.
Sometimes all it takes is a room.
A songwriter.
A story.
And an audience willing to listen.
The next Nashville Comes Home Live performances take place September 24–25 at Wahoo’s on Eastern in Henderson, Nevada.
